Tea Review: Ge Xian Weng Prunella-Mulberry-Chrysanthemum Herbal Tea

Details: I couldn’t find a site for this so here’s the Amazon site: https://www.amazon.com/Ge-Xian-Weng-Prunella-Chrysanthemum/dp/B001P6V0R0

Score: 7/10

I was originally bought this as a gift. It supposedly has some health properties related to Chinese ideas of inflammation and how herbily stuff has a positive effective on bodily energy… but I have no knowledge on any of that. All I can say is that this tea is extremely sweetened. As a result it tasted pretty good to me.

Inside the initial big package is about sixteen smaller pouches filled with the powdered tea and a bunch of sugar. You pour it in a cup, add boiling hot water and the stuff dissolves into a brownish colored drink.

Overall, this is very sweet, but pretty good. If you want unsweetened tea, this is not for you. There is a ton of white sugar in this.

Soft Drink Review: Teas’ Tea Latte

Details: Official site is https://teastea.com/products/latte/black-latte. I’ve had the black tea and matcha flavor. Purchased for around three dollars in New York City.

This is a standard milk tea drink. It sweetened so it tastes like bubble tea, except fresh brewed tea is obviously going to taste better. It’s a good option if you want some sweetened milk tea to go.
