Ageha Sushi is another one of the countless low priced Japanese restaurants around New York City. These places are decent, but so inauthentic that the majority are actually run by Chinese people… not that most people know enough to tell the difference.
I came by for the lunch special. I got two rolls combo which came with a small miso soup and salad for $12.50 after tax. The rolls I had were a shrimp tempura roll and an eel avocado roll. They were okay and each roll came with six pieces. Salad and soup were just okay.
Overall, it was kind of pricey for the small amount of food served. I probably won’t return.

Maki Maki is a relatively new takeout only sushi place in midtown Manhattan. What differentiates this place from other sushi places in the area is the higher than average quality of the sushi, prices which match lower quality sushi options in the area, and their focus on hand rolls.
