Inday is a fast casual Indian food place like that serves Indian fusion-y food, Chipotle style. It’s like Indikitch.

They have a chicken biriyani that’s about nine dollars that’s okay. I tried the roast chicken bowl which was around twelve dollars I think. It tasted a lot like halal food you could get from a food truck/cart. They also have salmon among other options other than chicken.

Overall, this place was okay, but over priced. I don’t think I’d ever come back because I could just get food from a halal cart instead for half the price and which tastes mostly the same.

Restaurant Review: Hide-Chan Ramen

Hide-Chan is located directly upstairs from Totto Ramen. I don’t know if they compete or cooperate, but it is an interesting location for two businesses that do the same thing.

I came here for lunch during a weekday. I ordered the classic ramen which came with two slices of pork with noodles (you get to choose the firmness and whether you want straight or curvy noodles) and broth for ten dollars. I don’t know what their happy hour policy is, but they gave me a free extra topping, of which I got the soft-boiled egg. I also got an extra order of noodles for two dollars.

Overall, everything was good. Service was fine. Noodles were fine. Since I just had Totto Ramen recently, I can say that Totto was a little better, but not by much. Hide-Chan Ramen or Totto Ramen, both are solid ramen options. Also, for ten dollars, it’s a pretty good deal.

It wasn’t that long ago that Totto Ramen was considered by many New Yorkers to be the best ramen in the city. Years have gone by, and while I’m not sure it’s the best ramen in the city, it’s one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve had in New York at a good price.

Restaurant Review: D Napoli Pizza

Not much to say about this place other than that it’s a decent place to get a slice of pizza in Midtown East. A regular slice is around three dollars. Everything else costs a little more. I got a cheeseburger with fries from here… bad decision. Just get the pizza because the hamburger was about as good as something from McDonald’s, maybe a little worse. They have a deal where its about six dollars for two regular slices and a drink. I usually come here for their white pizza, which is all right.

Overall, a decent place for pizza.

Restaurant Review: Glaze Teriyaki

Came here for lunch one day. I ordered the chicken thigh teriyaki which came with rice and a small salad. It was okay. The chicken actually didn’t taste very good. There are some places to sit, but it is a small space catering to the lunch crowd. The cost of the meal was around nine dollars.

Overall, it was okay. I probably wont’ come back because I didn’t like how the chicken tasted. I do think you should give it a try if you work in the area and see how you feel about it.
