Cereal Review: Kellogg’s Special K Cinnamon Brown Sugar Crunch Protein Cereal

Details: More information can be found at https://www.kelloggs.com/en_US/products/cinnamon-brown-sugar-protein-cereal.html

Score: 6.5/10

This stuff’s pretty good. It’s got brown sugar in it, which I love in my cereal. I don’t know if I love cinnamon though. I certainly don’t hate it. The shape of the cereal is also a little uncomfortable since it’s optimally shaped to cut the roof of my mouth. The shape reminds me of Captain Crunch cereal. Still, not bad. It also doesn’t get soggy as fast as competing cereal brands because of its shape.

Bubble Tea Review: Tiger Tea

Score: 5.3/10

Tiger Tea is yet another new bubble tea place that opened up recently. It has no relation to Tiger Sugar.

I ordered a brown sugar boba milk drink for around five dollars. It was likely the worst version of the brown sugar bubble tea drink I’ve ever had. The portion was small, the bubbles were cold and hard, and the tea didn’t taste great.

Additionally, when I came by, the place smelled awful. Every once in a while, a clean bubble tea place will clean out their machines and the place will smell like crap. I just happened to come by while they were doing this I think and the place smelled bad. The tea unfortunately tasted a little like the smell.

I don’t recommend this place.

Bubble Tea Review: Tsaocaa

Details: Located at 3804 Prince St, Flushing, NY 11354. Official site is http://www.tsaocaatea.com/

Score: 6.8/10

Tsaocaa is yet another bubble tea place that opened recently. I feel like there were at least seven or eight places that opened this last month. I feel like the main thing each place is offering is a different style of interior decorating and space where you can drink your tea.

Bubble Tea Review: Tiger Hill

Details: Located at 136-49 Roosevelt Ave #2, Flushing, NY 11354. A claimed Yelp page can be found at https://www.yelp.com/biz/tiger-hill-queens

Score: 6.5/10

Tiger Hill (not to confused with Tiger Sugar) is a new bubble tea shop that’s opened up. It’s main attractions are the brown sugar bubble teas that are all the rage right now. From what I can tell Tiger Hill also has many locations around the world, so it’s not an unestablished shop.

I ordered the cream mouse brown sugar tea. It was the top option on their menu. Pretty good. Not better than Yi Fang or Tiger Sugar in my opinion, but decent and with a much shorter line.

The drink cost $5.50, but they have a 10% discount promotion going on since they just opened. Don’t know if it’s still going on now. After tax, it ended up at around $5.50 again.

Overall, this place is okay.
