Player is yet another isekai story where a high school student is reborn into another world and must fight his way up a tower to achieve something. If the story sounds familiar, that’s because it is. There is nothing in this that hasn’t been done in other manhwa or shounen manga.
The only redeeming aspect of this story is that the art is different. I wouldn’t say it’s better, but it is unique and unique art is enough in a comic to carry the story.
Overall, if you enjoy isekai stories, then you’ll like this. The art is different enough that I could get through the story. If you’re a sucked for this genre as I am, then you’ll probably enjoy this. I’ve only gotten a few issues in an it is ongoing.
