Fast Food Review: Taco Bell’s Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco

Details: More information can be found at

Score: 7/10

Since the pandemic started, I’ve been eating a lot of fast food… a whole lot of fast food. While I do frequent a number of different franchises, Taco Bell has risen to the top as one of the most frequent places I visit. That is largely due to the Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco.

The Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco is essentially a regular hard taco wrapped in a tortilla that is glued on with melted cheese. There’s also some crunchy chips in it, I think Fritos chips.

The main selling points of this thing is that it is only one dollar. Which is ridiculous pricing considering that a regular hard taco costs over a dollar. The pricing makes no sense. Regardless, the price and amount of taco I get makes this an irresistible purchase every time I visit. I usually just get three of these things for around three dollars and walk away a happy camper.

The only downside with this is that it is temporary, which is unfortunate. It’s a promotion. A few months ago there was a promotion for a soft taco that had sour cream in it for one dollar. If any deal could surpass this one it is that one because any one dollar taco with sour cream is going to be superior to any taco without sour cream. The only thing that could beat that would probably be a one dollar taco with avocado.
