Inside is a a relatively short platformer with a few puzzles in it. It was okay.
The game takes place in a dystopian, science fiction-y world. There isn’t any direct narrative or dialogue, you just wander through this world and stuff happens.
At it’s core, this game is just a standard platformer. It does do some interesting things though. For instance, the entire game takes place in a single level. That means that there aren’t any loading times or screen cutoffs. You just keep going until the game ends. You can pause or quit though because the game autosaves at certain points in that level.
The strongest part of this game is the visuals. This is a very artistic game and the style of it is very impressive. It definitely helps create that atmosphere of foreboding and fear.
Overall, this was a fun little game. If you got a two to three hours to kill, this is a nice way to fill that time.
