Dynamite Seafood is in a location of a restaurant that was known as Cutting Board. I’m pretty sure that the owner of Cutting Board is the same owner of Dynamite Seafood. This is because the menus are mostly the same, except that they now have Cajun style seafood boils.
We ordered the sea urchin spaghetti and the baked seafood rice with cream sauce. Both dishes cost around ten dollars and both dishes were delicious. It’s one of the things I love about this restaurant is the inclusion of such varied, tasty, yet simple and relatively cheap dishes. Sea urchin spaghetti is mostly Japanese yoshoku cooking, while the baked seafood rice with cream sauce feels like something Cantonese/from Hong Kong. Both were great.
The space is large is comfortable. The bathrooms were single roomed and thus, very nice.
Service was okay.
Overall, I loved Cutting Board and I love this place. It’s cheap, tasty, simple, comfortable and has a lot of variety in the menu. I’m definitely coming back.
