The Sweet Sap is a sort of basic restaurant that has American and Korean fusion-y food. The place is all right, but I think it is a much better place to visit during the Spring and Summer months because it has a large outdoor area. Unfortunately, I visited this place in the winter and so found it to be really basic.
I ordered the Tteok Galbi burger which costs about sixteen dollars. It came with some fries. It’s a decent burger, though I wish it was larger given the price.
Service was fine.
The interior was decently sized, but as said above, they have a large out door area and I feel like you mainly come here to drink and eat out side rather than inside.
Overall, this place was fine. The food was okay and pretty average. The prices are something I’d expect to see in Manhattan given the type of food they serve, but this isn’t in Manhattan. This place in the middle of nowhere and across the street from a Taco Bell. I don’t recommend anyone come here unless it’s in a warmer season and you want to drink outside.
