Came by for something quick to eat. I looked this place up earlier and it looked like a place specializing in spicy food and yogurt drinks that come in a light bulb shaped container. As said on the Yelp page, you need to ask them to lower the spiciness level on whatever you order to it’s lowest level because their default spice level is really hot.
I ordered the stewed beef noodle and the chicken gizzard with pickled pepper noodle. The noodles here are hand pulled and we could tell because we saw them making it in the kitchen. The stewed beef noodle was pretty hot, but not numbing. The chicken gizzard noodle had more numbing flavor. Both were noodle soups by the way. Both were pretty good.
Service was fine. The waiters were fluent in Chinese and English.
Overall, this is a good place to get some spicy food. They got a whole bunch of delicious looking dishes that we did not get because we just weren’t in the mood to have a big feast. It’s a shame this place is located on an off street because it was pretty empty when we went. The food’s good enough to warrant better business.
