Details: Located in the Aria, at 3730 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89158. Official site is https://aria.mgmresorts.com/en/restaurants/the-buffet.html
The primary website leaves out how much this place costs on a weekend night. It’s about $57.00. Whether or not it’s worth it depends on a number of factors. I thought it was just okay considering the price.
The thing about Las Vegas is that there are a lot of very famous all you can eat buffets. The average wait time for any of these places at dinner time cane take hours. Accordingly, we were forced to go to Aria’s buffet since it is still relatively unknown by most tourists.
Fortunately, the buffet wasn’t too bad. The price was kind of high, but considering what they were serving, I think it was worth it. It is still likely inferior to the more well known other buffets on the Vegas strip.
The best stuff here were the small dishes. Like in other Vegas buffets, more gourmet items are placed in small dishes and pans and served in individual serving size instead of one giant bowl where you shovel it out of. These items include things like braised beef and some pastas. I suggest you try all the small dishes if you can.
Here are some more thoughts:
- The juice dispenser has some pretty good mixed juices.
- Oysters Rockefeller are not on display. You have to go up to the station and ask him to make it or give it to you.
- The Seafood isn’t terrible considering Vegas is in the desert, but it’s not great either.
Overall, this was a decent buffet. I would still prefer one of the more well known ones over this one like the Bacchanal or the Wynn.
