Restaurant Review: Toasties

Details: Located at 924 Third Ave, New York, NY 10022. Official site is

Toasties is a chain of lunch places around Manhattan that mostly caters to the lunch rush of office workers

They make three things for lunch: salads, sandwiches and a hot lunch. I haven’t had a salad here. I’ve had the hot lunch, where you pick a protein and two sides. It cost almost fifteen dollars, which is really expensive when compared to other deli’s in the area and most name brand fast casual lunches like Chipotle. I recommend you stay away from the hot lunch.

The main redeeming item of this place are the sandwiches. Most sandwiches are priced from around seven to ten dollars. These sandwiches are pretty good quality and pretty good sized. I’ve had a couple of the sandwiches here and they were all great.

They also do deli breakfast foods, like breakfast wraps and bacon egg and cheeses on rolls and stuff like that.

Overall, this place is good for sandwiches and nothing else. If you want a good sandwich for an okay price, Toasties is a good option.
