Bubble Tea Review: Tea Cha Cha

Sometime recently, Tea Cha Cha renovated and changed from one of the worst places to get bubble tea into a place for desserts and cheap Japanese food. They still have bubble tea, but now they also have smoothies among other things.

They have a bar counter and some seats if you want to sit. They also have a couple of hot rice and noodle bowls. There are a lot of dessert options with ice cream, but I just got the beverages.

I tried the Dragon Fruit Legend (cost $5.95) and the Cha Cha Bubble Milk Tea ($3.50 for a medium size). I haven’t had dragon fruit in a while and I forgot what it tasted like. Dragon Fruit tastes like nothing. It’s just texture. Accordingly, the drink had barely any taste. It did have a lot of coconut milk so it tasted like that. Otherwise, you don’t really taste any dragon fruit because it’s tasteless. The milk tea was average even though their twist is that they use brown sugar.

Service was nice. It seems like a husband and wife duo working here or a father daughter thing.

Overall, an average place to get bubble tea. I will say that the bubble tea is cheaper here than most competitors in the area.
