Hometown Hotpot is one of a many hotpot places in Chinatown. There’s nothing special about this place. They have all you can eat and Korean barbecue as well.
The interior is a large space, except that this place is apparently really popular, so expect a wait or to share a table with some strangers.
We had the all you can eat hotpot only for about twenty-six dollars. You can get Korean bbq or both for extra. Everything was fine. It was an average hotpot experience for me. I will say that it was nice to go somewhere that had ample sacha sauce. The places in Flushing where I usually go run out of that stuff and the staff is too lazy to refill it. All you’re usually left with is some watery goop instead of that thick sauce that you want.
Overall, a decent place for all you can eat hotpot.
