Mugi is the latest Asian bakery franchise that has arrived in Flushing. They got a couple of locations around New York City. Their food made me sick once.
As said above, I got sick once from their breads. Many of their breads are pretty trash. On the other hand, they make one of the best croissants I’ve ever had. It’s hit or miss here with the majority of their breads being a miss. You’re going to want to go early as they generally do not make breads throughout the day and most latter day stuff is pretty stale. I went here at night and that’s how I got sick.
They make individual breads priced from three to five dollars. They also make cakes and various hot and cold beverages.
There were some seats at the location I went to, though not many.
Overall, this place was fine. Really, all the Asian bakeries are okay. In terms of quality and price, this is about mid tier, higher than Fay Da but less than Paris Baguette.
