The first time I noticed Sweetgreen was when the line from Chopt seemingly disappeared and migrated over to Sweetgreen. Now Sweetgreen almost always has a line out the door every day during lunch time.

Sweet is primarily a salad place that also serves some other bowls.

I ordered the Kale Cesar salad for around eleven dollars. It was okay. Most things on the menu range are around twelve and thirteen dollars. The Kale Cesar was one of the cheaper things on the menu.

I think what’s important to know about this place is that it is a trendy, healthy, hipster place to eat. Most of the people who come here are appearance conscious and want to eat “healthy.” They are the kind of people who buy the new Iphone or want to buy the new Iphone as soon as they come out. These are people who like to keep up with trends, and Sweetgreen feels like a trendy place to get lunch when you’re at work.

So if you come here, the reality is that the food isn’t that healthy though there may be kale or quinoa on the menu. The food certainly isn’t cheap as there are many competitors in the salad business. You’re mostly buying… image I guess or branding.

Overall, Sweetgreen is a mediocre place to eat. If you do want to come here, I recommend ordering online and then coming by to pick it up. They have a very adequate online order and pick up system in place that let’s you bypass the line.
