Kulu is an Asian dessert place with a location in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Flushing. While they serve a variety of things, the most unique thing they serve here that I often don’t see at other dessert places is the sweet soups.

They serve a lot of things here like waffles, crepes, and pudding. They even have durian products, but I got the sweet soup.

I don’t remember the name of what I got, but it was item F. I think it was purple yam with grass jelly, taro and some mochi/jelly things. It cost around ten dollars.

It was all right. I think what would have made the dish better was if it were colder. The thing was served chilled, but close to room temperature. I think if it was closer to being frozen or super cold, then I would have enjoyed it much more.

Overall, I think this is a decent place to get some Asian desserts that are not as easily accessible as, say, crepe cakes which seem to be very “in” right now. If only they served their sweet soups at a lower temperature.
