Restaurant Review: Outback Steakhouse

Details: Located at 2348 Bell Blvd, Bayside, NY 11360, among other places. Official site is

Outback Steakhouse is a chain of casual steakhouse restaurants with a lot of locations all over the place. I’ve been here a couple of times and I’d probably rank it above Applebee’s but below Texas Roadhouse.

A meal here usually ranges from fifteen to over thirty dollars depending on what you order. They have most cuts of steak, but don’t expect quality like what you’d expect from a premium steakhouse. Also keep in mind that the steak you get is likely related to where you are located. If you’re in the Midwest where there are a lot of cattle farms, then your steak will likely be better than what you’d get in the northeast where there are fewer cattle farms. They also have your standard appetizers like chicken wings and blooming onions.

The food tastes okay I guess. Service depends on your servers as this is a big chain of restaurants.

Overall, it’s okay, but I would never choose to eat here of my own volition unless I had no other choice or if a majority of my friends decided to eat here.

Score: 5/10
